Computer Competence Certificate C3
 The Certificate has Three Tracks. The following table illustrates the three levels of training that the C3 certificate will cater for and the respective modules that each will be composed of

The Basic Track Level of the Computer Competence Certificate (C3) is suggested to cover the key concepts of computing, its practical applications and their use in the workplace. The Basic Track of Computer Competence Certificate (C3) certification consists of six modules covering topics ranging from basic IT concepts to web and social networks. The Advanced Track consists of two modules that cover database use and Reporting. Each module is followed by an assessment. Award of the three types of the Computer Competence Certificate (C3) certification is given on completion of all Track modules assessments, the modules are shown in the above table.



For Sectorial Tracks the contents will be different. For example, the “Engineering” sector, another certificate is proposed, may be called Computer Competence Certificate (C3)Engineering. The Computer Competence Certificate (C3) Engineering certification consists of only five modules covering advanced topics. Each module is followed by an assessment. Award of the Computer


Competence Certificate (C3) Engineering certification is given on completion of all five assessments, the modules are:


Module 1 - Introduction to Open Source Platforms, Licensing and Software


Module 2 - Advanced Word Processing


Module 3 - Advanced Spreadsheet


Module 4 - Advanced Database


Module 5 - Advanced Presentations
